  • Over two days we visited Mary Queen of Scots House (Jedburgh), The Great Tapestry of Scotland (Galashiels), Linlithgow Palace, The Battle of Bannockburn and Wallace Monument (Stirling). We also managed to fit in a trip to a Craft Brewery and the mighty Kelpies.

  • Leaving from Glasgow, we visited the Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway. We then visited the spectacular Culzean Castle, via the Electric Brae. Finally, I had worked with my client to help locate graves of her ancestors in the Ayrshire town of Newmilns, where we also did a walking tour of this historic and under appreciated town.

  • Working with my client, I was able to identify several sites related to his ancestors within The Borders. We included all of these, including Melrose, Oxnam and Yair, as well as a scenic route around some of The Borders beautiful countryside.

  • My client wanted to visit Holy Island & Alnwick for a day trip from Melrose. Carefully planning a route to maximise time on the tidal island, we enjoyed a wonderful journey, peppered with short stops along the way. Lunch was enjoyed in a wonderful cafe/bookshop in Alnwick, before spending the afternoon on a walking tour of the town. Just one of many itineraries that can be followed in this spectacular area.
