Rates

Bespoke (Driver Guided) Tours start from £500 (Borders Pickup) and from £600 (Edinburgh/Central belt pickup), with any additional extras agreed and quoted ahead of booking. Low Carbon Tours are £200 per tour.
Multi Day Tours will be discussed on request and individually quoted. A deposit structure for multi day bookings will be confirmed at time of booking.
Public Walking Tours and Events are individually priced on Eventbrite.

Additional Charges

Guests pay own entry into any charging places of interest on agreed itinerary, unless otherwise stated on agreed itinerary. Where possible, this will be added to upfront invoice but there may be payment required on the day, due to bespoke nature of tours.

Guests to cover expenditure on own lunch and refreshments during day tours. Paying for guides lunch is entirely optional.
I reserve the right to add Admin Fees for significant additional preparation or research requested by clients. Any additional fuel or time costs relating to extended pickups/drop-offs will always be quoted in advance.

Payment

From August 2026 a Non-Refundable £100 deposit is payable on all day tours upfront. Balance to be paid 14 days ahead of tour date. The Non-Refundable Deposit covers reservation of the date, administrative time and loss of opportunity to take other bookings.
Any out of pocket expenses not covered by tour fee will be due to TVB Tours in advance (e.g. accommodation, special transport, extras).
Payment can be made securely online using Square platform, using link in invoice provided. In the event of online booking not being available or appropriate, an invoice with bank transfer details will be provided.
All walking tours, bookable through Eventbrite, are to be paid at time of booking.

Cancellation

If the client cancels a tour with 2 days or more notice, all payments will be refunded minus the Non-Refundable £100 deposit, which is retained regardless of the reason for cancellation.
If client cancels tour within 2 days of tour date, Tweed Valley Blogger Tours reserves the right to retain full payment.
In the event of Tweed Valley Blogger Tours needing to cancel a tour due to exceptional circumstances a full refund will be issued. Please note we will always look for every alterative to cancelling a tour.
For public, walking tours no refunds are available if client cancels within 5 days of the event, though we will endeavour to place you on a future date. In the event of Tweed Valley Blogger Tours cancelling an event due to unsafe conditions, a refund will be given. Please be aware that Eventbrite’s own fees are non-refundable.

Behaviour

Tweed Valley Blogger Tours reserves the right to terminate a tour at any point if guest behave in a way that is unsafe or considered inappropriate.

Safety & Personal Responsibility

Tweed Valley Blogger Tours holds full Public Liability Insurance, and all driving is covered under appropriate Chauffeur Insurance. Guests are expected to take reasonable care for their own safety during tours, including wearing appropriate footwear and clothing, and following any guidance given by the guide. Participation in walking tours and visits to historic sites is at the guest’s own risk.

Gift Vouchers

Payment to be received in full before Gift Vouchers are delivered.
There are no expiry dates on Gift Vouchers.
All Terms and Conditions relating to Additional Charges are still applicable on tours booked using vouchers.
Maximum of 4 people for each tour booked using vouchers, with the exception of walking tours where up to 10 people can be accommodated.
