18 reasons why you should visit The Scottish Borders

I was inspired by a social media post from Visit Scotland which gave 9 reasons to, well, visit Scotland. Never one to miss an opportunity to celebrate my native Scottish Borders, I created my own version and it was a hit. Suggestions then came flooding in so a sequel quickly followed giving me the satisfying but somewhat arbitrary number of 18 reasons to visit the Scottish Borders. The list was shaped by my own pride in the area, backed up with a mix of my own images and those kindly provided by others (see individual photos for credits). Here they are, and of course the Borders is far too rich for this to be definitive so let me know what I missed in the comments.
