Making Connections

One of the great joys I have found in my role as a Tour Guide is the basic human pleasure of meeting new people. This interaction with interesting people, each with their own story to tell, is one of the key reasons I changed career from an office based role to guiding - which is as customer facing as it gets! I am also keen to expand this to my clients on tour as well…

I am passionate about bringing people together and so have tweaked my tour enquiry form to include questions about the possibility of sharing a day, or half day tour with others. Many of you may wish to have a private tour experience, whether as a family group, a couple or on your own and that is of course great. I am also aware that some people, like me, enjoy meeting new people and building a connection. Therefore when anyone enquiries about any TVB Tour, they will now have the option to either note that as a group they are happy to be matched up with others interested in a similar tour, or if enquiring as a solo person they will have the option to note that they would like to be added to a group. Of course, the logistics or putting this together may not always be possible due to busy schedules, but I will do my utmost to help facilitate your requests. I want to encourage people to make these new connections, and if they can also spread the cost of a tour in doing so, then so much the better. So if you fall into either of these categories then do get in touch, and I will do my best to put together a group that will enhance an already great day out with TVB Tours.

Stewart.
