A tour which departs from in or around Edinburgh or The Borders, our Borders Distillery Tour is a special tour, bringing you the true spirit of The Borders. We will depart at 09:00 and will aim to have you dropped off at around 17:00. Like all our Driver Guided Tours, the day will be tailored to you.

Take this tour to discover the Spirit of The Borders. Take a stunning journey through the Borders landscape, with stops on the way to take in the history and landscapes of this peaceful region, before heading to The Borders Distillery for a special tour. The Distillery, in the historic town of Hawick, is the first in the region since 1837 and produces an array of spirits in an award winning building.

Our journey to the distillery will be leisurely and slow paced, taking time to enjoy the Borders scenery. Travelling south from Edinburgh we cross the hills into the Borderlands. Arriving in the central Borders we will take in some of the areas glorious viewpoints, including Scott’s View, before heading to the Borders Distillery for your tour. Following your tour and some lunch we will have an opportunity to learn about the rich history of Hawick including it’s cashmere industry, before taking the slow road home via the remote, rolling hills and quiet valleys of The Borders.

Route and timings subject to change depending on tour availability and pickup location. In event that Borders Distillery cannot accommodate our group, then full refund will be given.
