A tour which can depart from in and around Edinburgh, or anywhere in The Borders , our Borders Literary Tour is a full day of books, stories and a landscape that is pure inspiration. We will depart at 09:30 and return to your agreed drop off at around 17:00. Like all our Driver Guided Tours, the day will be tailored to you.

A tour with a difference. You will visit locations associated with The Borders literary heritage, including Abbotsford - home of Sir Walter Scott. Along the way you will be told some of the mysterious tales this land is famed for including stories from the likes of James Hogg, John Buchan and Robert Burns. We will also bring it bang up to date with a visit to some of the regions best contemporary bookshops.
