Bernat Klein’s Studio
Step inside the story of Bernat Klein’s Selkirk Studio- a striking modernist building once filled with colour, creativity and innovation. Designed by architect Peter Womersley in the 1970s, the studio was the creative heart of Klein’s pioneering textile work, which brought Scottish design to international attention. Now standing derelict, the building remains a haunting symbol of a golden era in Scottish textile history. In this video, I chat with Alex Feechan, CEO of FINDRA to explore its past (and future), its architectural significance, and the enduring legacy of Bernat Klein’s vision.
This video was produced by FINDRA in October 2025.
