The Tweed Wedding Tour
Last year Rosa and Pedro joined me on a guided walk by the Tweed. This year was their big one - the wedding of the year in Peebles! I was deeply touched when they wanted their guests from Brazil and the UK to share that same joy of discovering the stories of the River Tweed and Peebles, inviting me to lead a walk as part of their celebrations.
Sadly, the timing we agreed didn’t work for most of their guests travel plans, but I didn’t want to let them down. So we found another way - I created an exclusive wee audio tour, downloadable on phones and ending right outside the Bridge Inn. 🍻
To be honest, I wasn’t sure how it would land, but over the wedding weekend in October it was downloaded dozens of times, and the happy feedback from Rosa and Pedro was the best gift of all. Proof that being adaptable, and being ready to pivot, is a virtue in guiding as well as in marriage!!
